Importance: Room upgrades are among the most profitable upsells for a hotel. Not offering this option to the majority of your guests represents a significant missed revenue opportunity. By increasing the number of guests who are presented with room upgrade options, you can maximize your upselling potential and enhance overall profitability.

How to Fix:

  1. Offer a Wide Range of Room Upsell Options:
    • Navigate to Room Setup > Upgrade Prices Summary in the UpsellGuru Platform.
    • Ensure a diverse selection of room upgrade options is available to cater to different guest preferences.
  2. Review Availability Thresholds:
    • Go to Room Setup > Availability Setup.
    • Adjust the availability thresholds to ensure that room upgrades are offered more frequently, considering factors such as occupancy rates and room type availability.
  3. Verify Room Type Availability:
    • Check if room type availability is being accurately received by the system.
    • Navigate to Interfaces > Rooms Availability to confirm that the availability data is up-to-date and correctly mapped.
