Health Check: Possible Wrong Billing Code Detected
Review and correct extra billing rules to prevent purchase issues, improve guest experience and maximize upsell revenue.
Severity: Medium
Description: We have identified a possible mismatch in the billing setup for one of your Extras. This indicates that one of your Extras may have an incorrect billing rule (per day, per person, per unit, per reservation).
Importance: Using the wrong billing code can prevent guests from purchasing certain extras. For example, charging Late Check-Out per day instead of per reservation, or charging a bottle of champagne per person instead of per unit, could lead to confusion and missed sales opportunities.
How to Fix:
1. Go to Setup and Extra Types:

Access the UpsellGuru Platform.

Navigate to Setup > Extra Types.
2. Edit the Identified Extra:

Locate the Extra that has been identified with the possible wrong billing code.

Click on “Edit” to modify the Extra's details.
3. Change the Billing Rule:

Adjust the billing rule to the correct one. Ensure that the billing setup matches the intended charge structure for the Extra.
