Importance: Having the correct number of each room type is essential for effective availability management. Accurate room inventory data is crucial for:

  1. Availability Management: Ensures that room availability is correctly managed, preventing overbooking or underutilization of rooms.
  2. Dynamic Pricing: Supports accurate dynamic pricing strategies by reflecting true room availability, helping to maximize revenue.
  3. Auto-Pilot Functionality: Allows the Auto-Pilot feature to operate correctly, making automated decisions based on accurate room inventory.

How to Fix:

  1. Go to Setup:
    • Access the UpsellGuru Platform.
    • Navigate to Setup > Room Setup > Availability Setup.
  2. Enter Room Inventory:
    • Enter the correct number of rooms for each room type.
    • Ensure that the total number of rooms is accurately reflected in the system.
